An Evening of Empowerment
This unique and empowering event aims to connect like-minded philanthropists and professionals through forming valuable networks that based on the desire to inspire hope and giving. Mom's House is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the mission to empower single parents through education and child care for no cost to the family. Since 1991, with ongoing support from donors and partners, the non-profit organization has celebrated over 300 single parent graduates break the cycle of poverty by earning an education and becoming financially independent. The funds raised at this event will support the organization's mission. To help propel single parent and their children toward reaching their greatest potential, Mom's House plans to improve Lancaster County through state accredited child care, as well as providing critically needed educational resources, while implementing sustainable programs to help families escape generations of stagnation and poverty. Diapers, food, clothing, or peace of mind knowing there is a support system that wants a parent and child to be safe and succeed, all have the potential to lift barriers enabling the most vulnerable families access to a brighter future. Mom's House has and will continue to strive towards this positive change. This exciting event's Master of Ceremonies is the delightful Lori Burkholder from WGAL 8 News and is hosted at the charmingly prestigious Lancaster Country Club. The evening will feature delicious dining, cocktails, live and silent auctions, and success stories from the families served over the years. Over 200 professionals and philanthropies are expected in attendance.
